It's Hunting Season

It's hunting season at New York Fashion Week and no we're not talking about for rabbits... Danielle Corona, who was a finalist in this year's Vogue fashion fund/CFDA, came up with her idea of the tiniest designer handbag. When most of us think of a tiny clutch we think of a bag that’s just big enough to hold our cell phones, but not Danielle in fact she had the opposite idea! According to vogue.com her cherry red lizard cube bag with a black silk tassel won't fit more than a credit card, a lipstick, and your apartment key. That means you might have to leave your phone home, just kidding, but am I?

Danielle Corona debuted her bags in her first-ever New York Fashion Week presentation on Wednesday at Café Altro Paradiso. The models were in sleek minimal white and cream outfits that compliment the neutral-toned bags they were carrying, as they lounged around in the back. As stated on the website here are some of the bags that were present: There was a small lady bag in Peach lizard; the Brand’s best-selling cylindrical bag in cognac leather; and a new, slightly larger version of the “trunk” style, a rounded top handle Corona compared to a very stylish lunch box.

One of hunting seasns greatest strengths is making seriously gorgeous bags that don't cost a lot of money. In fact one of her new bags this season is a soft envelope clutch in fabric made from tightly woven banana leaves. This is amazing because this technique is providing work for a whole new group of workers in Columbia, and it's less expensive than leather or exotic skins.
