The Importance of Stretching

Stretching. It's easy to forget this pre and post workout regime but stretching daily will help start and bring your day to a healthy and safe close.

  • Acts as a stress relief.
  • Improves your performance in physical activities.
  • Helps heal and prevent back pain and so many more benefits. 

Also it is essential to practice proper stretching techniques. 

  1. Warm up first.
  2. Focus on a pain free stretch.
  3. Stretch both side.
  4. Hold each stretch for about 30 seconds.
  5. Relax and don't forget to breathe.

Practicing these proper techniques will ensure that you are keeping your body safe and free of any strains or pains. Incorporating these into your daily activities will be easy as there are so many times and ways throughout the day that you can stretch such as: The morning stretch, mid-day stretch, lower back , neck, feet, hands and before and after your workout.
Stretching daily will help your body and joints move more freely during your workout or daily duties.
