Avocado Love

Today is National Guacamole Day!

Guacamole informally shortened to guac; in the United States since the 1980s, is an avocado-based dip, spread, or salad first developed in Mexico. In addition to its use in modern Mexican cuisine, it has become part of international and American cuisine as a dip, condiment, and salad ingredient.

National Guacamole Day is celebrated on the same day as Mexican Independence Day, September 16.

Doesn't everybody like well-made guacamole with their chips and on their tacos? I sure do!

Also, I love the Tableside Guacamole at my favorite local Mexican Restaurant too.

But there are other ways to use the avocados. Whether you eat them or put them on your face or hair, the benefits of avocados are endless and yummy too.
