Dear Diary.....

Not everyone has 30 minutes to journal before going to bed, especially when TV sound so much more fun--Right? But studies have shown that writing in a journal helps reduces stress.... Game changer! Now i know some of you may be thinking, but I'm not a good writer I never know what to say... That's okay! Instead of doing the Dear Diary approach you can do bullet points. Try writing two answers for each of the following questions..

  • What are two things you did well?
  • What are two things you can improve on?
These questions will not only help you wrap up your day mentally but end on a positive not as well.

Not feeling the bullet point approach, that's okay another way to journal at night, my personal favorite, is to write down five things you are grateful for. Five things in your life that are going right, getting better or just things you have in general! Keep a gratitude journal is also a great day starter as well. It is so much fun going back to the journal at night or in the morning and seeing everything in your life that you are grateful for.

However you end your night just remember, whatever you do will set yourself up in the morning. What do you want to wake up to stress or success?
