Miuccia Prada took a spin on conservative occasion wear with clunky platforms, including lace-up cork styles, and  lots of floppy hats layering feminine styles with big bows with newsboy and baseball caps. She had references of the Forties and seventies throughout, it came through in the pretty printed tea dresses with balloon sleeves, contrasting collars, high defined waists with fluid peplum details. Prada’s blouses were worn with long collars in crochet lace or with delicate embroidery details both paired with high-waisted belted shorts in colored leather or various printed cloths.

The mood was retro-looking but with a youthful, sporty flavor. Stripe socks, chunky cardigans and cotton pieces for more of a workwear vibe and crystal embroideries were sprinkled across some looks. Prada also trotted out knits and coats in playful prints depicting jockey riders.

Miu Miu’s Resort 2020 collection was paraded at the picturesque Hippodrome d’Auteuil race track in Paris’ 16th arrondissement. Each of these looks left us saying... Oh, La, La...
