The nation needs to heal and be united and understand one another. And it starts with uncomfortable conversations. We need to look at ourselves and have deep conversations around the table with people who don't look like us and think like us.
There has to be racial reconciliation it is the first step is to address the sin of racism that has for far too long been left unaddressed and/or ignored. It is important to listen, educate, and begin the conversation.
This godly work of fighting against racism and fighting for justice is a long game. It’s a life-long work for us to engage in, not just for a moment. So pace yourself and don’t get overwhelmed from the start.
Here are authentic black voices, let us listen to our black brothers and sisters in Christ and be like Jesus.
“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
-Micah 6:8 (ESV)
